Fairholm Boutique Inns is a family owned and operated five star National historic property in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. With 33 uniquely decorated suites among a collection of four diligently restored heritage buildings, Fairholm ensures a relaxing and unforgettable experience for every guest.
This villa was built in 1838 and is a National Historic Landmark that houses 7 exclusively designed suites. Complete with gas fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs and curved glass bay windows.
A nine room Victorian Mansion built in 1897 that also houses our Front Desk, Check-In and Breakfast Operations.
Nestled behind Fairholm is our Carriage House. For the more modern travelers and families alike, our 6 Suite Carriage House offers full kitchens and Murphy beds.
The last piece to the puzzle. In the center of our property surrounded by gardens is our Cranford House. 10 unique suites all offering shared balcony or deck access.
The secluded location combined with the peaceful historic surroundings of Fairholm Boutique Inns offers the perfect destination for small events, weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, celebrations and dinners. We give photographers unique room style options and access to our picturesque lobbies for shoots or personal projects.

Fairholm Boutique Inns is a family owned and operated 5-star historic architectural masterpiece in downtown Charlottetown. Fairholm was built in 1838 by Thomas H. Haviland, a Father of confederation and was purchased by us in 1999 when we converted it into a seven room inn. Since then, we have expanded into a 32 room boutique hotel through purchasing neighbouring inns and properties. We strive to take our hospitality to the next level by providing a home away from home experience and have you arriving as strangers but leaving as friends.
We are constantly growing here at Fairholm Boutique Inns and now have over 25 full-time employees in the summer including three of our four children Ben (Backend Manager), Tess and Jake. All three play a unique and integral part to help making Fairholm Boutique Inns what it is today.
